Job Description

• Assess, evaluate, consult, differentially diagnose, and plan treatment for all disorders defined by the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders (current edition) published by the American Psychiatric Association.

Requirements

• Board-certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology or the American Osteopathic Association.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience within the preceding 5 years as a full-time Psychiatrist; or graduation from a psychiatrist residency program within the preceding 12 months.
• Provide 2 letters of recommendation written within the last two years attesting to the healthcare worker's clinical skills. One letter must be from a physician or nurse who has personally observed and evaluated the healthcare worker and can attest to their clinical competence in the care of patients. The other letter must be from a clinic or hospital administrator, physician, or nurse who has personal knowledge of the healthcare worker's patient care skills in a similar clinical environment.

Staffing and Scheduling

• Normally provided Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM. On-call required every ten weeks.
