Job Description

• Provide clinical services to patients consistent with training and expertise.
• Care for patients in outpatient or inpatient settings or both.
• Document clinical care and tasks necessary for billing and other administrative functions.
• Participate in continuing medical education required to maintain licensure and board certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all WellStar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.

Requirements

• A MD, DO, DMD, or DDS degree is required.
• Applicants must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Georgia.
• Applicants must have completed the necessary residency training requisite for their given specialty and be certified or qualified for certification by their respective specialty board.
• Previous practice experience in a residency training program is required; prior practice experience, in lieu of residency training, is preferred.
• It is expected that applicants will possess skills commensurate with their given specialty and show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
