Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Hospital employed with West Tennessee Medical Group, a 170+ provider practice, seeking to build an integrated heart and vascular practice, joining established cardiothoracic surgery and electrophysiology providers. The group is located on the campus of a tertiary care system and provides patient care to the regional system's service area, serving a population of over 550,000.

Ancillary testing is located in the clinic, including EKG, ECHO, stress lab, etc. APP support is available for clinic and acute settings. There are six cardiac cath labs and an established STEMI call program in place. The facility was awarded Transcatheter Valve Certification by the American College of Cardiology in December 2020. Jackson Madison County General Hospital has been recognized by the American College of Cardiology as a National Heart Center of Distinction, and it is the only hospital in the State of Tennessee awarded this distinction.

Compensation model will be a fixed salary in year 1 based on sub-specialty and WRVU productivity in years 2 and 3.
