Neuro Critical Care APP Locums Coverage

Facility in Wethersfield, CT seeking Neuro Critical Care APP locums coverage.

Job Description

• Requisition Start Date: March 24, 2025
• Requisition End Date: September 24, 2025
• Shifts:
  • Night shifts: 6:30 PM to 7:30/8:00 AM.
  • 3 to 4 nights per week (flexible schedule, part-time available with 2 nights/week).
• Patient Volume: 6 to 9 ICU patients per night.
• NeuroICU Beds: 23 total, shared with other NPs/PAs.
• On Call: No.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients in the NeuroICU and occasional overflow from MICU.
• Patient population includes acute stroke, head/spine trauma, neurosurgical, and critical care cases.
• Procedures:
  • Central line placement.
  • A-line insertion.

Requirements

• Experience:
  • Dedicated Neuro ICU experience is required.
  • Expertise in neurology, neurosurgery, and critical care.
• Certifications:
  • ACLS and BLS Required.
• State Licensure: Connecticut license Required.
