Neurohospitalist

Facility in Chicago, IL seeking Neurohospitalist locums coverage. Rates: $3.5 - $4k/day. This facility is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurohospitalist to provide locum tenens coverage via a hybrid model initially onsite followed by scheduled virtual inpatient consults. This is a high-priority need due to a staffing vacancy.

Job Description

• Deliver remote inpatient neurological consultative care every third week
• Onsite coverage required during the weeks of June 16 and July 7
• Begin virtual coverage July 28 and continue on a tri-weekly rotation
• Work collaboratively with on-site hospitalists and clinical teams
• Document all patient encounters in EPIC EMR
• Participate in full-spectrum inpatient neuro care, excluding procedural requirements

Requirements

• Board Certified/Eligible in Neurology
• Active Illinois medical license and license in state of residence required
• Minimum of 1 year of neurohospitalist experience
• ACLS & BLS certification required
• CSR & DEA required
• Must be able to commit to a recurring schedule every 3rd week
• Telehealth capable with high-speed internet and HIPAA-compliant space
