CT Surgery APP Locums Coverage

Facility in Portland, ME seeking CT Surgery APP locums coverage.

Job Description

• Rates: $160/hr

• Schedule:

  • Four 10-12 hour days per week if assigned to the OR.
  • Three 12-13 hour shifts per week if assigned to the ICU.
  • ICU shifts include in-house overnight coverage.
  • Weekend responsibility: 1 in 4 or 5 weekends (on-call Friday 6 PM to Monday 6 AM).
  • Surgical call: 1-2 weekdays per week (6 PM to 6 AM).

• Position Details:

  • Cardiac Surgery Division Volume: 7 adult surgeons, 32 APPs, 1,600 pump cases per year.
  • Procedures Performed: All cardiac surgeries except transplant.
  • Residents/Fellows: None.
  • Culture: Highly collaborative, independent APP group where surgeons operate and APPs manage post-operative care.
  • EVH System: Maquet Hemopro2.

• Credentialing:

  • Immediate processing with emergency credentialing available.

Requirements

• Board Certification: Required.
• Licensure: Active ME license or IMLC.
• Vaccination: COVID and flu vaccines required.
