    Job Description

    • Join our 22-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry with a nurse to patient ratio of 1:5/6.
    • We are staffed with Registered Nurses (RNs) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Monitor Techs providing care for a mix of patients including Med/Surge.
    • Our unit has 24/7 CNA coverage who work closely with the RNs as well as 24/7 cardiac monitoring.
    • This role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with rapid patient turnover while delivering high-quality patient care in a strong team environment.
    • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs.
    • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions.
    • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient.
    • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
    • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
    • Performs timely and accurate QI assessments.

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.
    • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
    • One year of experience preferred.
