    Job Description

    • Schedule: 3x12 (7a-7p) rotating weekends/rotating holidays
    • Support those in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members to positively impact our mission of making communities healthier.
    • Work in a 22-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Telemetry with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:5/6.
    • Provide care for a mix of patients including Med/Surge.
    • Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and Monitor Techs to deliver high-quality patient care in a strong team environment.
    • Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
    • Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
    • Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
    • Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
    • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
    • Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.

    Requirements

    • Current state RN license.
    • Degree from an accredited nursing school.
    • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
    • One year of experience preferred.
