    Non-Invasive Cardiologist

    The WVU School of Medicine and the WVU Heart & Vascular Institute seek non-invasive cardiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor) for faculty positions in Parkersburg, WV. Depending on operational needs, a successful candidate may also be assigned to provide services at additional worksites in West Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. In such instances, travel would be anticipated and expected to fulfill said duties at these additional sites.

    Job Description

    • Provide excellent patient care while being actively involved in teaching medical students, internal medicine residents, and cardiology fellows.
    • Opportunities exist in clinical research.

    Requirements

    • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible for state medical license.
    • Board certified in internal medicine and board certified or eligible in cardiovascular disease with additional certification or intent to certify in imaging modalities such as echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and/or MRI.
    • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.
