Job Description

• Oversee the activities of the ER and assigned staff during scheduled shifts
• Provide patient care
• Enhance department workflow
• Provide leadership at the point of care
• Ability to understand, communicate, and react effectively to patient and family needs

Requirements

• Current state RN license or compact licensure
• Basic Life Support certification is required at hire
• ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire
• Three to five years' experience as a staff nurse within the ER department
• CEN preferred
• Handle with care within one year of date of hire
• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• Knowledge of MedHost electronic health records strongly preferred
