    Registered Nurse (RN) ED - Full-Time Night Shift

    Job Description

    • Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
    • Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
    • Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
    • Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
    • Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
    • Performs timely and accurate quality improvement assessments
    • Ability to float to various clinical areas where qualified and competent

    Requirements

    • Current VA or compact RN license
    • At least one year of previous experience in ER as a RN strongly preferred
    • Basic Life Support certification required within 30 days of hire
    • ACLS and PALS within 90 days of hire
    • Handle with Care within one year of hire
    • Conscious Sedation competency completion within 90 days of hire
    • Ability to regularly accept on-call assignments and ability to report to the hospital within 30 minutes of notification
