Job Description
- Join our close-knit team in a 6-bed ICU, where you'll provide high-acuity, personalized care in a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Provide low nurse-to-patient ratios, strong team culture, rotating weekends, and opportunities for growth and development.
- Accurately perform patient assessments and identify patient needs.
- Identify and initiate appropriate nursing interventions.
- Provide care appropriate to the condition and age of the patient.
- Perform timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record.
- Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient.
- Perform timely and accurate quality improvement assessments.
- Ability to float to various clinical areas where qualified and competent.
Requirements
- Current VA or compact RN license.
- Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
- ACLS and PALS are required within 90 days of hire.
- Handle with Care training within one year of hire.
