This position requires frequent, prolonged periods of standing, bending over, and may occasionally require moving machines and equipment of up to 200 lbs., as well as lifting chemical and water solutions of up to 30 lbs. The work environment is characteristic of a health care facility with air temperature control and moderate noise levels. 

**Supervision**

Assigned oversight of LPNs/LVNs, RNs, Patient Care Technicians, and Home Therapy Care Team Assistants as a Team Leader or designated Nurse in charge after meeting all required qualifications.

**Education and Licensure**

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.

**Experience and Required Skills**

- Entry level for RNs with less than 2 years of Nephrology Nursing experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1-year experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred).
- Home dialysis therapy experience (preferred).

Registered Nurse - RN

We are seeking an Internal Medicine physician to help start a new hospital-employed outpatient internal medicine practice. The typical work week will consist of outpatient clinic Monday through Friday with a half-day on Friday. The position will require the provider to take 7 days of city call per month at our Hospital location. City call requirements consist of admitting unassigned inpatients to the hospital and provision of their care. There is a nurse practitioner that sees all of the city call patients Monday through Friday and performs much of the patient management. The physician is required to round on the patients once daily and be available by phone for new admissions. Typical census on the city call service is 6-10 patients. A backup physician is called if the census is 12 or higher.
