PURPOSE AND SCOPE: In keeping with Shields Health Care commitment to excellence, the PET technologist will provide a professional, caring atmosphere to all customer groups, while maintaining a fast-paced, multi-tasked oriented clinical environment. B. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.) Follow all Shields Health Care Group policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure patient safety at all times. 2.) Follow rules and regulations established by the NRC, state regulatory agencies, and JCAHO. 3.) Inform the patient of all aspects of their exam to their level of understanding. 4.)
