**Advanced Practice Provider - Pediatric Colorectal Center**

**Job Description**

- Work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience in the Pediatric Colorectal Center.
- Be essential in the surgical and medical management of pediatric and adolescent patients with IBD (Crohn's Disease and Ulcerative Colitis).
- Responsible for independent patient care, leading an interdisciplinary team, quality improvement, and advocacy.
- Accountable for program development and executing the strategic plan and vision of the Complex IBD program in partnership with the service line director, operations manager, and medical leadership.
- Care for children with GI dysmotility, constipation, Hirschsprung's disease, anorectal malformations, and complex IBD.
- Deliver optimal patient care through effective clinical practice; education of the patient, patient's family, clinical staff, and others; consultation with other healthcare providers; and maintain current knowledge regarding options for optimal patient care and outcomes.
- Full-time schedule will generally be Monday - Friday during regular clinic hours. No weekends, holidays, or nights required.
- Provide care at our Lehi, Utah and Salt Lake City, Utah Primary Children's campuses.

**Requirements**

- Utah license as a Physician Assistant (PA) or an Advance Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
- Utah State Controlled Substance License.
- Federal DEA Certificate II through V.
- PALS and BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
- Prior clinical experience with IBD and pediatric patients is preferred.
