**Job Description**

- Help patients get their power back by assisting with communication, swallowing, and addressing disorders or deficits.
- Take responsibility for the effective and efficient delivery of rehab services, designing and executing patient care plans.
- Address the whole patient as an individual, designing programs that restore, reinforce, and enhance their speech and communication abilities.
- Adapt to the needs of patients and thrive in a variety of work settings.
- Collaborate with peers while making referrals to ensure patients receive the care they need.
- Train patients and caregivers on skills to promote independence and productivity.

**Requirements**

- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, or a similarly-titled area acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow. Candidates eligible to obtain the Certificate of Clinical Competence will also be considered.
- Licensed, certified, or credentialed as required in the state of practice.
