**Job Description**

- Optimal start February 8, 9, or 10 for hour shifts.
- Cover all cases presenting to the facility; currently, we do not handle cardiac, transplants, high-risk pediatrics, or heads.
- OB: Skill set for epidurals, spinals, and general anesthesia for emergency c-sections is required.
- Ortho cases: Must be facile with regional anesthesia.
- Neuro/Heads: Spine surgery (cervical, thoracic, and lumbar cases) but no heads.
- Pediatrics: Healthy pediatrics; anticipate doing your own cases unless on call, then supervise CRNAs and see all cases and add-ons during the day with a supervision ratio of 3:1 or 2:1.
- Call: Yes, this is the most pressing need. After February, we will have only two full-time call-taking doctors and do not want to get burned out. Some per diem doctors will take a few calls during the month.
- Anesthesia rooms on site: 5 on site but typically run only three anesthetizing locations daily. On emergency cases, the call doctor will start the case, and the CRNAs will be unsupervised until a case comes down.
- Practice model: Each location would like 4 full-time physicians for coverage but will have 2 at the end of January.
- Paper charting is used.
- Credentialing takes two to three months.
