**Nocturnist**

Hospital has an urgent need for nocturnist coverage. They will accept both PAs and APRNs for this coverage.

**Job Description**

- Scheduled hours: Nights 7 PM - 7 AM
- Coverage is needed starting as soon as possible, with 14-15 shifts per month.
- Average patient load per shift: 30
- Number of beds in department: 54, but does not cover all hospital patients, as there are community providers who also cover their own patients.
- Support staff includes RNs and a House Supervisor-RN.

**Requirements**

- WV licensed providers only
- Board certification required or preferred only as required to practice in WV.
- Certifications required: ACLS (two stroke modules - NIHSS required, but can be completed after selection).
- Recently certified candidates are okay, but it is a night shift position and they will work alone, other than phone calls.

**Benefits**

- May have flexibility with hours (start time), but prefer the 12-hour shift.
- Ongoing coverage needed.
