**Western Colorado Primary Care Physician**

Join our team as a Primary Care Physician in Western Colorado, just 40 minutes from Grand Junction. This position offers a permanent, hospital-employed role focused on outpatient care of medically complex patients.

**Job Description**

- Seeking a physician Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- BLS required
- Outpatient care of medically complex patients
- Dedicated office and two exam rooms per provider
- 49-bed hospital with 6 ICU beds and 6 Labor & Delivery Recovery Rooms
- Level 1 Nursery with C-Section suite on site
- Advanced imaging capabilities including GE 450 Wide Bore MRI, two 64-slice CTs, and more
- Cardiac/Pulmonary Rehabilitation, Occupational and Physical Rehabilitation
- Trauma Level IV Designation
- Average of 18-20 patients per day (35% Adult, 60% Geriatric, 5% Pediatric)
- Laboratory on site 24/7 with turnaround approximately 1 - 1 hour
- Group size includes 1 other Internist, 2 Family Medicine physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and 1 Physician Assistant
- Ancillary services within the facility include lab, x-ray, cardiac rehab, orthopedics, endocrinology, wound care, and physical therapy
- Specialty backup includes Behavioral Health, Hematology, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiology, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Urology, Orthopedic Surgery, and Otolaryngology (ENT)
