**Job Description**

- Patient load can be 8-18 adult inpatients per day from admission through discharge.
- Work schedule is 7 days on, 7 days off, 12-hour shifts, with nights covered by APPs and UPMC telemedicine.
- No call responsibilities.
- No OB or pediatrics.
- No procedures and no ICU responsibilities.
- UPMC Bedford is an acute care, 40-bed community hospital with medical, surgical, cardiac care, and telemetry services, with a variety of diagnostic, treatment, and rehab services.

**Requirements**

- Board Certified or Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- BLS, ACLS Certified
- Must qualify for a medical license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
