Join our team as a locum tenens physician to assist with patient backlog created by the retirement of one of our staff physicians. This position offers a flexible schedule with opportunities for both outpatient and telehealth services.

**Job Description**

- Must be licensed in North Carolina
- Board certification is required; fellowship is preferred

**Credentialing Information**

- Estimated credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days

GI Scheduling needs: We are experiencing shortages in our GI coverage. This has created some difficulty in keeping patients in the hospital with GI needs. In an effort to supplement our local practice, we would like to start with locums coverage each week from Friday through Sunday. To start, the locums provider would be on call for the full time that they are on shift. Fridays would also include screening procedures to assist with a backlog. This service could grow to a more full time program as needed. Full time program could also include some outpatient clinic time. The hospital will be extending the needed shifts from weekends only to 24-7 coverage.
