**Anesthesiologist (BE/BC) - 1099 Independent Contractor**

A healthcare facility in the Murfreesboro, NC area is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Anesthesiologist to join their team as an independent contractor. The role involves providing anesthesia services in both inpatient and outpatient settings, with a focus on a variety of surgical cases, including General Surgery, Orthopedic Surgery, and OB/GYN. The position offers flexibility with a work schedule of two weeks on and two weeks off.

**Job Description**

- Provide anesthesia care for a wide range of surgical procedures, including general anesthesia, blocks, and labor epidurals.
- Manage approximately 180 surgical cases per month, ensuring safe and effective anesthesia care.
- Oversee and collaborate with a team of experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
- Participate in a shared call rotation to ensure continuous coverage, including nights and weekends.

**Requirements**

- Must be Board Eligible or Board Certified in Anesthesiology.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a medical license in the state of North Carolina.
- Experience in managing a variety of surgical cases, including general surgery, orthopedic surgery, and OB/GYN, is preferred.
