**Job Description**

- An Advanced Practice Provider (APP) functions as part of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in accordance with privileges approved by the credentialing committee to provide high-quality, cost-effective care to patients within the APP's scope of practice in collaboration with a supervising physician.

- Join our growing UNC Urgent Care provider team! This is an employed position with UNC Rex and is a shift-based model. Our provider team staffs our 9 UNC Rex based UNC Urgent Care clinics across Wake County, open 7 days a week, 8am-8pm. We see ages 4 months and older. Our team includes RNs, CMAs, Rad Techs, MOAs, Physicians, and APPs. We have on-site X-Ray and point of care testing. Our clinics are walk-in based with a reservation and wait time system.
