**Family Medicine Physician**

Join a team of 8 Family Medicine physicians, 4 advanced practice providers, and a General Surgeon to deliver full-spectrum rural care in Orofino, Idaho. This position offers the opportunity to work in a newly remodeled 23-bed Critical Access Hospital that serves as a Level 4 Trauma center.

**Job Description**

- Deliver full-spectrum rural care, which can include Obstetrics, Emergency Medicine, and Primary Care in both outpatient clinic and hospital inpatient settings.
- Participate in surgical obstetric coverage if skilled, with four physicians currently providing this service.
- Provide emergency room coverage primarily through the Family Medicine team with 12-hour shifts and an annual volume of 4,000 visits.
- Work in a facility licensed for Acute Care and Skilled Care, with satellite clinics primarily staffed by advanced practice professionals.
- Rotate to satellite clinics 1 or 2 days per month.
- Utilize a four-bay emergency department with approximately 4,000 visits per year.
- Access on-site radiology services including CAT scan, ultrasound, ECHO, mobile mammography, and MRI.
- Collaborate with integrated Behavioral Health, Nurse Case Management, Community Health Workers, Diabetic Educators, and Dieticians.
- Provide telemedicine access to Pediatric and Adult Psychiatry, Cardiology, Nephrology, Sleep Medicine, and Oncology.
- Offer physical therapy services for inpatients and outpatients with a new outpatient PT facility.
- Manage an average of 60 deliveries per year in the OB suite.
- Coordinate with secondary referral hospital in Lewiston, ID, with a 45-minute transport time by ground; tertiary hospital for cardiac/trauma in Coeur d'Alene, ID, with a 45-minute transport time by helicopter.
- Work in the clinic 4 days a week with an average of approximately 15-18 clinic visits per practitioner per day.

- Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician.
