This Dietary Aide opportunity is part-time and offers a convenient schedule. This position is for our Northern Nevada Medical Hospital in Reno. Under the direct supervision of the Food & Nutrition Services Director, Supervisor, or Lead, the Diet Aide performs a variety of patient food service and dish duties.

**Job Description**

- Prepares all food items and patient meal trays accurately based on diet order, approved recipes, and patient meal tickets
- Uses proper techniques to ensure food safety, including hand hygiene, glove use, temperature monitoring/control, cleaning, and sanitizing
- Follows procedures for stocking trayline, prep areas, and nourishment rooms
- Utilizes proper delivery and pickup procedures including patient identification, isolation techniques, and dishroom procedures
