Duties include seeing patients in the clinic, area nursing homes, local hospital, and occasional home visits. The La Farge Medical Clinic is also home to the Center for Special Children, a service offered as a part of the provider-based rural health clinic staffed by a pediatrician with a medical genetics fellowship and dedicated to serving patients from the Amish/Mennonite communities with genetic and metabolic disorders.
