This rural full-scope midwifery practice is composed of three full-time CNMs and offers clinic and hospital-based midwifery services. The practice provides antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and well-person gynecology care. This is a growing practice with opportunities for developing and promoting midwifery. The birth center embraces a midwifery model of care, with patient-centered and individualized care as a hallmark of the care provided. Natural birth options, medication-supported birth options, and obstetrical options are available at our facility. All CNMs are credentialed water birth providers. Nitrous oxide and movement in labor are supported and encouraged, along with lactation support. OB RNs are skilled in intermittent FHR auscultation for appropriate-risk labor patients.
