The North Alabama Emergency Medicine Fellowship provides a unique opportunity for primary care physicians to become board certified in emergency medicine. The program is recognized by the American Academy of Emergency Physicians.

**Outcome**

Fellowship graduates will qualify for written and oral exams to receive board certification in emergency medicine (BCEM) by the American Board of Physician Specialists.
