**Job Description**

- Performs high-quality diagnostic and accurate MRI procedures to help physicians in the care of their patients.
- Provides optimum patient care.
- Demonstrates knowledge and technical expertise to safely and correctly operate MRI equipment.
- Performs and records daily QA.
- Develops skills to practice in a safe clinical environment.
- Develops skills in contrast administration.
- Demonstrates self-direction and utilizes problem-solving techniques.
- Cross-trained in another modality.
- Maintains technical competency in less frequent order procedures (2 or more years of experience).
- Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

**Requirements**

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in MRI.
- Desired: 3 years of experience in MRI; background in ultrasound or CT scan.
- Essential: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification as a Radiographer.
- Education: High school graduate or equivalent.
