**Emergency Medicine Physician**

Join our team in Watseka, IL, as we seek an Emergency Medicine Physician to provide coverage from ASAP until June 30. We are currently between groups, with a new group starting on July 1, and are handling our own staffing during this transition.

**Job Description**

- Work flexible 24-hour shifts from 8 AM to 8 AM.
- Manage a patient volume of approximately 350 per month in the Emergency Department and 375 per month in Prompt Care (urgent care).
- Provide routine emergency care, stabilizing and transferring patients as necessary, as we are not a trauma-level facility.
- Cover the adjacent Prompt Care (urgent care) alongside the Emergency Department staff and physicians.
- Utilize Athena as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

**Requirements**

- Must be board eligible; board certification is preferred.
- Must hold an Illinois medical license, Illinois Controlled Substance Registration (CSR), and DEA registration.
- ACLS and PALS certifications are required; ATLS certification is preferred.
