The general IR clinic is staffed by a clinical scheduler, referral/authorization specialist, clinic office coordinator, an LPN, and a CMA. A full-time APP also assists with hospital and clinic work, including light IR procedures. Clinic time is typically 1-1.5 clinic days per week, some of which involves procedures in the vein clinic. There is no night or weekend call, and no diagnostic imaging requirement aside from vascular lab ultrasound studies. The VIR team is committed to providing our patients with the highest level of care while maintaining a supportive and comfortable environment.
