- CRNAs will execute the patient-specific plan for anesthesia care including maintaining the appropriate confidentiality of patient information at all times, reviewing appropriate documentation for informed consent, identifying the appropriate surgical site, participating in surgical pause in the OR with the entire surgical team, using appropriate non-invasive and invasive monitoring devices for continuous evaluation of the patient's physical status, and using anesthetics, adjuvant and accessory drugs, and fluids necessary to manage the anesthetic.
