Join our team as an Emergency Medicine Physician, providing essential coverage in a high-acuity and high-volume ER setting. This position requires local candidates who can offer 6-10 days of shift coverage monthly, with 12-hour shifts available from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. or 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.

**Job Description**

- Provide coverage in a Level 3 Trauma ER with high acuity and volume
- Work alongside one other physician and have 12 hours of APP coverage each day
- Manage an average patient volume of 60 patients per day, with peaks of over 70 patients
- Treat patients of all ages
- Utilize the Meditech Expanse EMR/documentation system

**Requirements**

- Must be board-certified in Emergency Medicine
- MO state license required
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS
- MO DEA and MO BNDD required
- Minimum experience is flexible, as long as board certified
- Vaccines are mandatory unless an exemption is provided

**Special Equipment Used**

- New point-of-care equipment is available in the ER, not required but available for use
