**Pathologist**

The physician is responsible for performing tests, laboratory work, and pathological research. Follows and directs evidence-based practices established within the service line. Collaborate and coordinate the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure appropriate continuum of care.

- Provide comprehensive clinical/pathology care in the hospital setting.
- Follow and direct evidence-based practices as established within the Family Medicine service line.
- Collaborate and coordinate the individual treatment plan with the clinical team as necessary to assure an appropriate continuum of care.

**Requirements**

- Graduate of an accredited medical school.
- Board certified/board eligible in Pathology by the American Board of Pathology.
- Active and unrestricted West Virginia License.
- Current Federal and WV Drug Enforcement Agency Certificate.
- Fully credentialed according to medical staff by-laws of the organization.
- Experience in group practice and/or hospital setting preferred.
