**Job Description**

- Duration: Ongoing, with the potential for a long-term engagement
- Schedule: Scheduled clinical hours only, no call responsibilities
- Practice Setting: Inpatient psychiatric unit with assigned patient rounding
- Patients Per Shift: 8-12 patients per day
- Bed Capacity: 33 beds in the psychiatric department

**Requirements**

- Active board certification in psychiatry is required
- Must hold an active North Carolina medical license
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory
- Streamlined credentialing process with an estimated timeframe of 30 days

**Practice Details**

- Provide care to patients with various psychiatric conditions, including:
  - Anxiety and affective disorders
  - Psychotic and personality disorders
  - Organic disorders and more
- Involvement in treatment techniques such as pharmacotherapy, group therapy, and family therapy
- No outpatient responsibilities
