**Job Description**

- Lead clinical services provided within the Department of Cardiology, including inpatient and consultative services, ambulatory cardiology, cardiac imaging, heart failure, interventional cardiology, and electrophysiology.
- Responsible for the administration, planning and organization, and overall management of the Cardiology Department, including supervision of its team.
- Perform direct patient care activities and ensure the quality of clinical services provided by the Department of Cardiology.
- Provide clinical leadership and expertise within the clinical cardiology team, overseeing hospital-based and ambulatory cardiology services.
- Ensure the productivity of the Faculty and identify and develop new clinical programs consistent with market opportunity, patient needs, financial feasibility, and with the priorities of both the Hospital and Health Systems.
- Work with Administration to meet the Hospital and Health system goals for patient and employee satisfaction.

**Requirements**

- MD or DO, with board certification in cardiovascular disease.
- Eligibility for New York State medical licensure.
- Minimum of 8 years of clinical experience in cardiology with leadership or management experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence, medical education, and practice improvement.
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in research and academia is highly desirable.
