Private Duty Nursing- West Jefferson, NC

Healthcare System seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include four days in the clinic and one day in the OR. The Physician Assistant will support a Sports Medicine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy sport and general practice. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P s, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The Physician Assistant will cover college (D1) and high school sporting events. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have an orthopedic rotation. It is a real plus if the candidates have a background as an ATC or in Kinesiology or sports medicine. There are no call requirements. **Orthopedic Physician Assistant**

Healthcare System seeks to add a full-time orthopedic Physician Assistant. The position will include four days in the clinic and one day in the OR. The Physician Assistant will support a Sports Medicine Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon with a very busy sport and general practice. Responsibilities include providing first assist, running a clinic, reductions, patient evaluation and education, pre- and post-H&P's, injections (small joints and bursa), consultation, and reviewing lab results in both a clinic and hospital setting. The Physician Assistant will cover college (D1) and high school sporting events. Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-Certified and have an orthopedic rotation. It is a real plus if the candidates have a background as an ATC or in Kinesiology or sports medicine. There are no call requirements. Experience greatly preferred but will potentially train the right candidate with an orthopedic rotation.
