Adelphi is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) to provide psychiatric care in a secure facility in Kerr County, Texas. The ideal candidates will assist with treatment, medication administration, and patient support under RN supervision.

**Job Description**

- Administer medications and perform technical nursing procedures
- Monitor patient health and report changes to supervising RN
- Collect lab specimens and perform basic screenings
- Provide instruction to support staff on patient care practices
- Participate in implementing treatment plans and evaluate nursing interventions
- Document care activities and maintain accurate medical records
- Follow all facility policies, nursing standards, and state health regulations

**Requirements**

- Valid LVN license in Texas or compact state
- American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Must pass urine drug screen and FBI fingerprint background check (FBI screening provided)
- Negative PPD test within the last 12 months
- 1+ year of experience in direct care nursing preferred
- 1+ year of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing preferred
- Mandatory 4-week onsite training: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- All compliance must be completed before starting, no exceptions
