**Cardiology/CDS Physician Locums Job in California**

Join our team for a Cardiology/CDS Physician locum tenens opportunity in California. This position offers a chance to work in a supportive environment with a focus on patient care.

**Job Description**

- 24-hour call from 6 AM to 6 AM
- Consult patients in the ED and inpatients
- Collaborate with hospitalists and specialists
- Supervise stress tests (pharmacological/exercise)
- Interpret outpatient and inpatient echocardiology, Holter, and event monitors
- Average 3-4 consults per day, supervise 4-8 stress tests, and perform 5-12 echocardiograms
- Typical 'non-interventional' community hospital cardiology cases

**Requirements**

- Board Certified/Board Eligible
- DEA
- California State License
- Hospital privileges at a Joint Commission (or equivalent) accredited hospital for two of the last four years
- Local candidates preferred, no flights
- Current certification in Internal Medicine and active participation in the certification process leading to added qualifications in cardiovascular medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine or the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine to be achieved within five years of completion of residency training, or successful completion of an accredited fellowship training program in cardiovascular medicine with at least three years devoted to cardiovascular medicine
- EMR: Cerner
- Optional/Ideal Procedures: Ideal candidate can perform TEE; optional - transvenous pacing, tilt table interpretation
