USMCFP Springfield uses an electronic medical record to perform daily patient care; the contractor will make themselves familiar with the computer security requirements and will abide by all established rules and regulations. The contractor shall ensure appropriate medical records are maintained and updated. The contractor shall communicate effectively with inmates with multiple health problems and a variety of cultural, sexual orientation, regional, racial, religious and ethnic backgrounds.All duties shall be performed in accordance with standards and methods generally accepted within the field of medicine, and compli- ance with all Federal and State policy and regulations. The contractor shall adhere to all standards and regulations associated with theJoint Commission and American Correctional Association Foundation/Core Standards for Adult Correctional Institutions.
