**Job Description**

- Manage pharmacy and therapeutics (P&T) committees, evaluate the clinical use of medications, and develop policies for managing access to them and ensuring effective drug use and administration.
- Manage the hospital's antimicrobial stewardship (AMS) program on a day-to-day level and be responsible for enacting the strategies to achieve the goals determined by the AMS committee.
- Work with the operations coordinator to implement clinical initiatives.
- Assist with filling orders.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including medication procurement, storage, distribution, and sterile compounding, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage IV preparation.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, develop and implement policies and procedures, and monitor key performance indicators to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency.
- Assist with new order entry, overseeing the clinical operations and staff within the pharmacy department, ensuring the provision of safe, effective, and efficient pharmaceutical care.

**Requirements**

- Must be an experienced pharmacist.
- Must have an active and good standing Illinois Pharmacist License.
- Must have inpatient experience.
- Experience working with CPSI is highly preferred.
