**Requirements**

- Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program AART required within 3 years of start date based on State of Colorado Statute.
- Less than 1 year of professional work experience in performing general radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures.
- BLS-Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) - AHA - American Heart Association Required.
- RTR-RT Radiography - ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**

- Demonstrated knowledge in how to operate general radiographic equipment and related technology.
- Demonstrated competency in the performance of general radiographic imaging studies.
- Knowledge of how to address age-specific care needs of patients and effective interpersonal skill sets that lead to productive communications and collaborations.
- Competency in interpreting physician order requests for general radiographic imaging studies.
- Ability to exercise prudent judgment in selecting and configuring equipment settings to compensate for patient physiologic variances.
- Ability to consistently produce quality images of various anatomical structures.
- Ability to handle patient specimens and laboratory equipment.
- Ability to maintain the expected level of competency.
- Knowledge of safety and infection control practices to ensure a safe environment of care.
- Microsoft Office Suite experience required; Electronic Health Management experience preferred.
