Geisinger's Heart and Vascular Institute is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join our growing practice at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, PA.

**Job Description**

- Collaborate with the physicians to assess, diagnose, and treat adult cardiac patients referred to the cardiology service.
- Demonstrate autonomy through patient evaluations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
- Manage and assist in the smooth, efficient operations of the inpatient cardiology patient, outpatient cardiology clinic, cardiac labs, and outreach cardiology clinics.
- Order testing as deemed necessary and remain proficient in interpreting results and prescribing appropriate medication regimen within the scope of practice of the nurse practitioner.
