Join our team in Somerset, PA, located in Southwest Pennsylvania, just 70 miles from Pittsburgh. This full-time, permanent position is J1/H1B eligible and offers a collaborative environment with a dedicated cardiology team.

**Job Description**

- Hospital employee position with a department currently employing two full-time cardiologists (one interventional and one non-invasive).
- Two physician assistants are currently at the practice, with a third full-time position being added due to increased volume.
- An electrophysiologist sees patients at the clinic one day per week and performs procedures.
- The practice runs a pacemaker clinic once weekly.
- The practice is conveniently located across the street from the hospital for easy access between inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Non-invasive cardiologists rotate weekly between inpatient and outpatient services, supplemented by physician assistants.
- Hospital services include rounding/consults, TEE procedures, stress tests, echoes, and EKGs.
- Medical call is divided among non-invasive cardiologists, with some weekend coverage supplemented by locums.
- Physician assistants provide some weekend rounding as well.
- The interventional cardiologist is well-known throughout the region for exemplary care and has been with the practice since 2016.
- The medical cardiologists have both been with the practice since 2019.
- Both physician assistants have been with the practice for several years under the guidance of the cardiology physician team.
- The outpatient practice currently uses Epic as their EMR system, while the hospital is using Paragon Allscripts with a planned transition to Epic in the future.
