**Job Description**

- Provide medical nutrition therapy using evidence-based practice to optimize patient care.
- Provide consultation to the healthcare team to ensure efficient and effective nutrition care to patients.
- Monitor and evaluate patient care and nutrition outcomes on an ongoing basis.
- Educate patients, healthcare members, dietetic interns, and members of the community.
- Participate in ongoing process improvement activities with the Nutrition Services Department.
- Maintain customer service and a patient-centered approach at all times when fulfilling job duties.
- Meet the qualifications to provide care to patients in the assigned clinical areas.

**Requirements**

- Required Education: Graduate of an accredited program in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related fields (Bachelor's or Master's Degree). Completed CDR-approved dietetic internship to qualify to take registered exam leading to Registered Dietitian, or entry-level Dietitian may be Registration eligible.
- Preferred Education: Master's Degree or higher in Dietetics, Nutrition, or related field.
- Required Experience: Basic computer skills. Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Preferred Experience: Previous clinical work experience.
