**Job Description**

- Schedule: Weekdays 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; after-hours call nights/weekends/holidays
- Job Setting: Onsite inpatient, outpatient, and residential psychiatry within the Central Alabama VA system
- Types of Cases: Adult Veterans admissions, diagnosis, treatment planning, medication management, consults
- Credentialing: VA VETPRO credentialing/privileging; any active U.S. state license accepted for onsite VA practice

**Requirements**

- Board Certified/Board Eligible: Psychiatry (ABPN)
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (or equivalent), current and maintained
- Licensure: Any active, unrestricted U.S. state medical license (VA facility)
