**Job Description**

- Responsible to supervise nurses and aides for Long Term Care facility
- Must be willing to work as supervisor and assist with med carts
- Work with the facility's Director of Nurses and Assistant to implement recommended changes as required

- Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document in the 24-hour report. Follow up on residents as needed

- Liaison between nursing staff and attending physicians. Assess the necessity of calls to the physicians during off business hours
- Check to see that all supplies are in proper place and all equipment is functioning
