Description A6 is a 27-bed fast paced unit. We provide care for cardiac patients who have undergone a cardiac intervention from the cath lab which includes stent placement, pacemaker placement, and diagnostic angiograms. We also care for the patients who have chosen to undergo Watchman and Mitraclip procedures. We manage patients with congestive heart failure, NSTEMI, STEMI, pre-CABG, and peripheral vascular occlusions. We do have patients with cardiac drips and also take medical-surgical overflow patients from the ER. We have a strong working relationship with our cardiologists and hospitalists. A6 has a dedicated team that is known for delivering exceptional high-quality patient care together with outstanding customer service. Summary: Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse/licensed Nurse, this Job will assist with routine and repetitive patient care activities in a nursing unit.
