**Job Description**

- Provider will round on patients and be on-call for emergent C-sections, vaginal deliveries, and any emergent GYN procedures
- Manage a Level I nursery
- Average of 1-3 deliveries per 24 hours
- EMR: Meditech 6.1
- Hospitalist support staff available 24/7, along with Anesthesiology and Radiology support
- Temporary privileges available

**Requirements**

- Board Certified
- Must be licensed in North Carolina
- DEA certification
- North Carolina Medicaid Credentialed

**Procedures**

- Routine delivery - vaginal, low forceps
- Complication delivery - C-section, breech, multiple births, abruptions, VBACs
- Repair of 3rd & 4th degree lacerations
- Office/minor gynecology - IUD, Cystoscopy, Colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
- Surgical gynecology - Open, Laparoscopic diagnostic/minor only (tubal/chronal ligation, LOA's), Operative/major (ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, extensive LOA's)
