**Requirements**

- Board Certification in Emergency Medicine or Family Practice with ED experience
- Active Minnesota or adjacent state medical license
- DEA certification
- Current ACLS, PALS, and ATLS/CALS certifications
- Proven experience in community hospital emergency departments
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR system
- Ability to work a mix of day and night 12-hour shifts
- Strong clinical assessment, decision-making, and communication skills

**Nice to Have Skills**

- Experience managing diverse patient populations of all ages
- Prior work in busy ED environments with fluctuating patient volumes
- Familiarity with seasonal peak periods and volume management
- Additional certifications or training in trauma or critical care

**Preferred Education and Experience**

- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- At least 2 years of ER practice in a community or hospital setting
- Prior Minnesota or neighboring state healthcare experience

**Other Requirements**

- Local candidates only; no travel or flights covered
- Work schedule of 6-8 shifts per month, including both days and nights
- Successful credentialing within 60-90 days
- Commitment to providing high-quality emergency care in a single coverage ER
